about single with luggage
Once upon a time, and several months before writing these words, in a moment of inspiration that came somewhere between figuring out how long I’d have to spend working out if I had a scone for breakfast instead of an orange, and talking myself out of the thought that if the drummer I like really wanted to be with me we wouldn’t have gone two days without talking…. I decided and realized that it was time. Time for me take the first step in answering the biggest ongoing dilemma of my life: how can I make money and travel and have a horse, freedom, fun, fancy, love, mobility, stability, satisfaction, elation, peace, joy, and excitement AND live the life of my dreams without having a ‘job?’ So to speak.
The answer I decide, is clearly to write a blog. The true and overriding purpose for this blog is to make money, and bring me fame and admiration. I want to write it to inform the masses, and I mean masses, so they will know how I think, and of course to inspire them to want to think just like I do. I’d like to get readership and advertise several products, and be so popular that when I write about something it becomes an instant best seller, improving the economy and providing me with generous percentage of each sale.
I also want this blog to result in me having great sex, limitless power, and perfect love. The eternal kind of love that remains interesting and passionate and fun.
This blog is for a greater purpose as well, and will be full of wisdom and positive thinking, but in a totally new and miraculous way. I want to write a blog that will be the catalyst for a million other ideas, mine and yours, and the catapult to get me out of this rut that’s been holding me back since the handsome painter (jose lerma, go ahead and google him) broke up with me in 1998, and went on to become a mildly famous and wildly successful artist in NYC.
I want to use proceeds from this blog to pay off things like law school loans, mortgages and any other debts I may have, and then to set up scholarships for people with the courage to drop out of law school and follow their dreams. Although it occurs to me that people with that kind of courage might not need scholarships, I’d still like for it to be an option should the need arise.
This blogging is serious business, and that’s exactly what I intend for mine. I can’t promise this blog will be funny or poignantly written, or even particularly honest. In fact, I can’t even promise it will be written at all. I am single with luggage, and this is my blog.

You go girl!
I’m so excited for you! Here’s to attracting everything you say you want!!!
Sounds like you ARE on your way to having it all. Just like yoga, it’s some of this, balanced by some of that over there. I’ve never managed to have everything at once – it’s always half, while the rest waits on the other side of the world
